I've been a little slack on updating my blog lately and I felt bad so I threw a couple pictures of my kitties up for a change but now I'm really going to update. Within the last month we had a fun family Easter gathering, went on a family campout and hiked the narrows (I just loved that). I've been getting into gardening and really enjoying it. I went to Topaz Mt. with my hubby this last weekend and learned to really appreciate the nice necklace and earrings he made for me on mother's day. It is hard work to break those rocks but it sure is fun to find a beautiful topaz waiting inside. I recently ordered a book about make-up (suprised?) It is by a make-up artist named Bobbi Brown. I really like her natural approach to beauty and making the best of what you have and trying to be the best you instead of wishing you looked like someone else.

I got Rick some more KISS stuff; a neon clock and mirror and a hat. He is getting quite a collection that he is proud of. Rick's Dad and Stepmom are coming to stay with us for a couple of days and Rick got this "great" idea of decorating the guest room in a KISS theme. I'll post a picture of it when he is done and update you on the reaction.

We are hooked on the first season of 24 (we have a lot of catching up to do) we are renting them and it is so nice to watch several episodes without the commercials. Work is keeping me quite busy. Rick and I are nursery leaders in our Ward. We love it. We have about 13 children and believe me when that two hour block is over I can't get home fast enough for a nap. I've been enjoying spending some time with Erin lately. For the last three weekends she and the kids have come over so Rick could work on thier car. It has been fun watching the Maddie and Lauren play with our kitties. They built little forts for them and were playing house it was too cute.
