Family Campout

It has been another year and time for another
Pritchard family campout. We stayed at the
Petrified Forest campground in Southern Utah.
Who knew it was going to be so nice! We had perfect
weather and the camp ground was great, it had
hot running water in the bathrooms with
flushing toilets, hot showers, a dish/fish cleaning
station and plenty of big cotton wood shady trees. But best of all we
had a lake! Mom and Ron joined us on Saturday to have
dinner and celebrate Ron's 100th birthday! We took some fun
short hikes, went canoeing and swimming, told fun stories around the campfire
(uncle Rick has a blast scaring the kids) and on the way home we
stopped to take a look at Bryce Canyon. The best part of the
entire trip was just watching the kids/cousins running around
playing and have the time of thier lives!

Looks like tree stumps but they are now petrified rocks

Laurn lost her tooth while sliding she had to chase
it down the rock but she caught it - she was a little bloody
after that but very excited to see if the tooth-fairy would
come to the campsite - and sure enough she did!

The fun had to come to an end - the kids were
sulking because they had just been told it was time to go.

Updates

Where do I start - The last couple of weeks have been fun and busy. Easter was fun at Dave & Becky's we had a Pritchard family easter egg hunt downstairs in the basement because it was pouring rain outside. The kids were fun and cute as ever. Conference weekend was a great experience - it was low key and relaxing! I was able to listen to all of the wonderful talks which is so important to me. We had a nice birthday party for David and Billy and the week before we went to Madi's birthday party. David and Stephanie also welcomed a sweet little baby girl named Abby and we couldn't be more excited. There is much to be grateful for!

All of a sudden we could hear a lot of noise
coming from downstairs - Simeon and Christian
discovered the big styrofoam house that David
brought and they decided to karate chop it to bits
